The Ron Taber Lecture Series is an annual conference which addresses matters affecting the church and modern culture. This year's conference featured Dr. George Scipione and Dr. Kevin Backus and focussed on biblical counseling in a series of lectures entitled, The Sufficient and Practical Remedy To Man's Problems".
The next generation of pastors, missionaries, and other Christian workers is preparing now! We as Christian individuals and churches have an obligation to provide laborers in Christ’s fields with the training they need. WRS graduates are prepared with knowledge of the Bible, theology, church history, and practical skills needed for ministry.
The Pastoral Mentorship Program (PMP) is a combination of distance learning and concentrated classroom training. It is designed for Bible Presbyterians and Christian servants from similar Reformed churches who are busy serving in their home churches and find it difficult to move to Tacoma for full-time studies.
Western Reformed Seminary adheres to the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms, as adopted and amended by the Bible Presbyterian Church in 1938. These Standards are the fullest expression of the Seminary’s doctrinal position. The basic beliefs of WRS are summarized in the fundamental statement of faith from the American Council of Christian Churches
